Thirty Years…
‘Once upon a time, I knew a man called Jack Harkness. Well, I thought I kind of knew him. Never got to tell him about you.’
‘Why?’
‘I don’t think he would’ve…’
‘He would’ve what?’
‘It doesn’t matter now.’
‘But really-‘
‘Really. Please. Stop’.
‘Okay- fine. Carry on.’
‘With what?’
‘The story.’
Ianto pushed up the glasses he found he had needed in time, and moved back into his chair, as he watched the dark haired girl in front of him.
‘Jack Harkness was my lover. He was an extraordinary man, an amazing man…He travelled in time and space, met people beyond galaxies we could only ever dream off…’
‘You’re making him sound like a dream.’
‘Sometimes, I’m not sure if he isn’t’.
‘I’m here, aren’t I?’
‘Shut up.’
‘You make him sound like he was someone fantastic, someone I should admire. I can’t.’
Ianto blinked at the girl. ‘What?’
‘He left you alone, never looked back. He went back to this-this…Doctor you talk of, and he never fucking thought of you again!’
‘Jack had other things on his mind.’
‘He forgot. I admit it. I watch you everyday. You can’t live, do you know that?’
‘Jack wouldn’t do that to me.’
‘I wasn’t even there, and I can tell you, that’s exactly what he did.’
Silence. The girl spoke again, her face softer.
‘You loved him.’
‘No.’ The answer was definite.
‘You still love him.’
‘No.’ The answer wobbled. The girl held the broken man, broken even after the years.
‘This is so stupid,’ Ianto said quietly, refusing to whimper or drop a tear. ‘But he was…all I had after my parents, my sister, my….Lisa. He just dropped out of the sky and somehow, he just somehow changed everything.’
The girl laughed softly. ‘A real bastard.’
Ianto allowed himself a smile, before holding a hand on the girl’s cheek.
‘He is’, Ianto said. ‘’Cause now, every time I look at you, all I see is him.’
The girl’s face turned as hard as stone, as she watched Ianto crumble away again.

BANG.
‘What the HELL?’ Jack yelled, as debris surrounded him. ‘DOCTOR?’
Silence. No one there.
No. no….Not after everything. The Doctor can’t have gone too.
Not now. Not after Tosh and Owen.
‘Hello?’ Jack yelled out, trying to stand up, and coughing in the mess of the TARDIS. Where was the Doctor? After Davros’ attack, and with the union of the companions (as he called it). Jack hadn’t had the heart to leave the Doctor.
Just one visit. Just one. Ianto won’t know I’m gone.
BANG.
Jack pulled out a gun, pointing aimlessly at the unseen terror.
‘Who’s there?’ Jack yelled, his coat swinging. ‘Show yourself.’
Suddenly, a hand folded around his neck, choking him from behind.
‘Wha…?’ Jack managed before coughing- unable to breathe.
A voice came to his ears. ‘Hello…I believe we haven’t met- yet.’
Jack choked, spitting out in his attempt not to die. Again.
2 seconds later, Jack was sprawled on the floor of the damaged TARDIS, faced by a beautiful, beautiful woman.
In his exact replica.
She smiled, her long dark hair swinging at her shoulders.
‘Hello, daddy’, the girl said. ‘Wow, Tad was right, I do look like you.’
Daddy? What the….
Jack coughed, and tried to stand up. ‘I’m not your dad’, he croaked.
BANG. He was on the floor again.
‘Whoa’, she said again, her eyes becoming dark. ‘You’re not standing up.’
She stood over the immortal man, her figure and her beautiful carved face shining out in the darkness.
‘I can’t be…’ Jack choked out. ‘You’re ….older…’
She laughed, hard and bitterly.
Suddenly, she pulled out a gun, and pressed the hard end to his head. ‘You never once thought, did you? You never thought to think what would become of my Tad. It’s been-

‘It’s been thirty years’, Ianto continued, holding his daughter to him. ‘It’s been thirty years, but I still don’t, I can’t believe he’s truly left me.’
He looked at his daughter properly. ‘Jack Harkness is your father, Alice.I was pregnant with you when he...went away. I didn't even know i could get pregnant!’
Alice sat, still as a cat, her eyes shining with tears and anger.
‘I’ll find him, Tad’, she promised. ‘I’ll find him thirty years too late’.
The End.
What do you think? Am I completely bonkers? Please let me know!
Comments are smothered in chocolate and TOTALLY worshipped!

Nope, not bonkers ... i'm assuming Ianto was pregnant somehow?
I loved the concept.
